Should you stick with what's known,
secure and understood by others?

OR... should you leap?

new!

a brilliant gamble online

At a crossroads? Feeling like there’s got to be a better way to blend the different aspects of work and life than this? Thinking about taking a Brilliant Gamble of your own?

A Brilliant Gamble Online is a new online programme and I am very excited to share it with you.

ABG Online is a self-paced programme of videos and exercises that guide you through the journey of deciding what you want your life to look and feel like and then taking the actions to make it happen.

What I’ve learned from my Brilliant Gambles is that no amount of thinking and planning and preparing changes anything. It’s exciting to dream, of course. But life only starts feeling different when you start making decisions, choosing your state and taking action. This time next year you could still be struggling to balance it all...or you could be reaping the rewards of your gamble and learning a heck of a lot about yourself in the process. Read what people are saying here.

The world is changing faster than ever before. Most of the ideas we have about business, leadership and work were invented to support an Industrial Age model of society. The Industrial Age was all about people as cogs in the machine, productivity, efficiency and making a profit for shareholders.

But we’re not in the Industrial Age any more.

We are on the brink of a revolution where business can become a force for good in the world.

There’s a real imperative to rethink leadership given that levels of trust in authority figures are at an all time low.

And there’s a growing desire among individuals to break with the rules of work handed down from previous generations and configure a life where all aspects of who you are and what matter to you are blended seamlessly together.

I speak to corporate audiences about leadership and change (you can read more about those keynotes here) and about our own “Brilliant Gamble”, the lessons we’re learning about life, work, ourselves, sleeping in a confined space with two dogs and how to take a Brilliant Gamble of your own.

one-to-one coaching

Each year I work with a handful of individuals who want to figure out what they want, what they care about, what they have to offer and what the right choice is for them. And then, together, we figure out how to make it happen.

I believe it is possible to find meaning and purpose in your work and really make a difference. And sometimes to be true to who you are you have to make a change. Maybe now is that time. In our 1-2-1 coaching, I'll inspire, guide and encourage you to look at what's possible,  disrupt the status quo and bring about change.

The most important thing I’ve learned is about meeting my own needs and not those of others. Blaire is really engaging and easy to watch.

I really appreciate the way Blaire guides you through the programme steps and shares stories of her own. The online materials are really clear and accessible and I found them very useful.
— Shirley Waklin
I joined the Brilliant Gamble programme as I’d listened to Blaire’s podcast for over a year and it really resonated with me. I wanted to know more about her journey.

Blaire exemplifies what she talks about [a blended life] and I wanted more.

Blaire isn’t an ‘online guru’ out to make a buck by selling her opinion of what work life balance should be. She doesn’t preach or pretend to have the perfect one-size-fits-all solution.

She’s a real person and her videos have helped me think deeply about what I want from my life and the next steps that I need to take to achieve my goals. The advice feels like it’s meant for me and not the entire internet.

As a result of the Brilliant Gamble programme, I’ve already made some pretty big decisions around the next three to five years of my career.

The programme is enormously helpful and helped me make sense of a big career crossroads decision I needed to make. It helped ensure that I followed my intuition and my heart and didn’t force myself into a rational decision-making process.
